Champaign County is fortunate to have an established Historical Museum. Dedicated volunteers have labored for many years and have been responsible for protecting and displaying historical artifacts of our county’s history. Because it has been a volunteer effort, the hours of operation are limited and additional programming is difficult.
It’s time for this gem to flourish. Passage of the 0.3-mill levy (literally only pennies a day) will provide funds to employ a paid curator, extend hours of operation, and allow development of new programming, especially youth oriented offerings. Passage of the levy insures that our Historical Museum can truly shine and operate to its full potential. Thank you for your support!
