SPRINGFIELD – Kenton Ridge High School catcher Jaxon Wright – a Mechanicsburg resident – signed a letter of intent on Thursday to play baseball at Cedarville University.

Last year, Wright hit .391 for the Cougars and managed a pitching staff that won the Central Buckeye Conference and finished as district runners-up.

Wright has played travel baseball since he was 9 and says he looks forward to joining the Yellow Jackets and contributing to Cedarville’s powerful baseball program.
