Hillclimber boys lose to Versailles, 67-54

VERSAILLES – Urbana fell to Versailles, 67-54, in non-league boys basketball on Wednesday.

Versailles (7-1 overall) led, 21-16, at the end of the first quarter and 39-31 at the half.

The home team owned a 55-45 lead after three periods.

For the Hillclimbers (5-3), Jordan Underwood had 18 points and Cameron Logwood added 12.

Urbana hosts Sidney on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

UHS wrestling wins

Urbana won a pair of wrestling matches Wednesday evening, topping Dayton Northridge, 62-4, and Tippecanoe, 51-30.

Against Dayton Northridge in contested matches, Gavyn Grim (126 pounds), Cameron Miley (132), Mitchell Moyer (138) and Timmy Sidders (170) all won by pin.

Jaylin Cameron (120) and Damion Williams (145) won major decisions.

Against Tippecanoe, Cameron (120), Grim (126) and Jack DeLong (220) all won by pin.

Zack Michael (182) won a decision.
