MAD RIVER TWP. – Champaign County Engineer Stephen McCall reports that Runkle Road in Mad River Township will be closed to thru-traffic between Kite Road and Vance Road beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, and continuing approximately one week for rehabilitation of the concrete slab bridge over Owens Creek. Funding for this project is through the engineer’s share of motor vehicle and license fees and gasoline tax.
