WEST LIBERTY – Rebecca Craig of Marie’s Candies in West Liberty was named to Retail Confectioners International’s Board of Directors as third vice president.

Retail Confectioners International (RCI) is a trade association serving the chocolate and confectionery industry since 1917. Through educational resources, events and tradeshows, and connecting members to each other, RCI provides a forum for confectioners to develop their candy-making and business skills.

Marie’s Candies has been an active member of RCI since 1978, and the business has been in operation since 1956.

“RCI was very helpful to my parents, the second generation owners of Marie’s Candies, and continues to be an invaluable resource for me as a third generation co-owner,” Craig said. “The members of RCI are lifelong friends and I feel honored to follow in my dad’s footsteps to serve on the RCI board.”
