MECHANICSBURG – The Mechanicsburg Fire & EMS Department’s Christmas Party will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 8, at The Masonic Temple/Hall, 12 N. Main St. in downtown Mechanicsburg, next to the Fire/EMS Department. Parking, including handicap, is available in front of or behind the firehouse.

Chief Robert Keene said all past and current members of the department are welcome. Each attendee is asked to bring a covered dish and beverage of their choice. Those interested in a general gift exchange are asked not to spending more than $20.

Keene said the annual get-together is a way of expressing appreciation and respect to those who dedicated their lives to protect the village of Mechanicsburg.
