MECHANICSBURG – The Champaign County Animal Welfare League, located at 3858 state Route 56, will hold its first annual Dog Wash on Saturday, October 27 from noon to 3 p.m.

No appointment is necessary and dogs will be washed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cost is $10 for smooth coated dogs (no matter the size) and $20 for long coated dogs (no matter the size).

Free refreshments will be provided.

Proceeds from the event will support the dogs and cats of the Champaign County Animal Welfare League, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
