SPRINGFIELD – The Clark County Park District offers “A Night of Historical Haunting!” 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the old Hertzler House on the dark and windy hill at George Rogers Clark Park, 930 S. Tecumseh Road. The last tour starts at 10:30 p.m.

The tour starts with a walk through the haunted Hertzler House, then take a hayride through the park with haunted spirits seen along the darkened path. The thrilling hayride will end at the barn, where riders can have refreshments near a bonfire to warm their bones.

This family-friendly affair costs $10 a person and youngsters under age 6 are free. Dress warmly for the hayride and the October weather.
