On Sept.29, James Erwin and Virginia Slone will celebrate 67 years of marriage. They were married on that date in 1951 by Rev. Stanley.
They have four children, Cynthia Sue (deceased 1958), Vicky (Melvin) Shaffer, Linda Kay (John) Garvey, Ricky Gene Slone, and one stepson, Brian. They have three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
They are both retired from Pinkerton Security.
