Mechanicsburg prevails in girls hoops

MECHANICSBURG – Addie DeLong poured in a game-high 31 points as Mechanicsburg beat Madison Plains, 74-25, in OHC girls basketball.

The Indians led, 47-18, at the half.

For Mechanicsburg (11-3, 8-1), Emily Conley scored 19 points.

Mechanicsburg won the jayvee game, 31-18. Belle Rodgers had 14 points for the Indians.

The Indians play at Greenon on Wednesday.

In OHC boys basketball, Springfield Catholic Central defeated Mechanicsburg, 67-45.

For the Indians (0-10, 0-6), Brennin Eyink had 10 points.

Mechanicsburg hosts Madison Plains tonight.
