The Triad jayvee softball team beat Ben Logan, 12-2, in 6 innings.

For Triad (6-6 overall), Kayleigh Boldman was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI and Lauren McCall was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. Sidney Louck was the winning pitcher for the Cardinals, striking out 5.

Triad plays at Sidney on Saturday in a doubleheader beginning at noon.

Placing first for the Tigers were Katelyn Stapleton, 400 (1:05.02), 800 (2:32) and 1,600 (5:30.44); Mandilyn Weaver, High Jump (4-2); Anna McGill, Shot (33-5.), Discus (79-2); 4×100 Hannah Bowman, Makena Gardner, Audrey McGill, Kaylee LeVan (59.92); 4×200 Gardner, Bowman, M. Weaver, Hallie Smith (2:10.19); 4×400 Megan Adams, M. Weaver, Smith, Selena Weaver (4:59.4).
