BROOKVILLE – WL-S defeated Greenon, 25-20, 25-8, 25-10, in the Division III volleyball sectional.

For the Tigers (21-3), Gabby Williams had 32 assists, 2 digs, 7 digs, 4 aces and was 18/19 serving, Aleah Reed had 6 kills and 3 blocks, Leah Ropp had 8 kills, 1 dig and was 8/9 serving with one ace and 2 blocks, Bailey Poppe had 11 kills, 12 digs, was 6/7 serving with with one ace and 8/9 on serves received and Chaley Wade added 6 kills and 3 digs.

The third-seeded Tigers will play No. 2 Dayton Christian in a district semifinal here today at 6 p.m.

WL-S falls in soccer

BELLEFONTAINE – Top-seeded Anna beat West Liberty-Salem, 3-1, in the Division III girls soccer sectional.

Ivy Cline scored the goal for the Tigers and Maddie Cole had an assist.

Delaney Wade had 7 saves in goal for WL-S, which finishes the season at 10-7 overall.
