COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Wisconsin men’s wrestling team faced off with its seventh-straight ranked Big Ten opponent, as the Badgers were defeated, 34-6, by No. 10 Ohio State at St. John Arena.

The first match of the dual was a family affair, as third-ranked 165-pounder Isaac Jordan met his cousin, No. 2 Bo Jordan.

Both are Graham High School graduates.

Entering the grapple, Bo (12-0), like Isaac (18-0), posted an undefeated record.

Isaac got out to a lead early on, earning two takedowns in the first period. A reversal in the second gave the Badgers’ wrestler a 6-3 advantage. Bo was able to muster an escape in the third but Isaac held on to earn the victory, 6-4.

The result marked Isaac’s 20th-consecutive win which dates back to last season.

He holds the longest streak by a Wisconsin wrestler since Andrew Howe (165) went 30-0 to start the 2009-10 season.
