Graham girls place 3rd at Tecumseh Invite

NEW CARLISLE – The Graham girls track team took third place over the weekend at the Tecumseh Invitational.

It was an eight-team invitational made up of mostly CBC teams.

The Graham girls finished in third place by scoring 155.5 points.

Scoring for Graham was the 3,200 relay team, Ashton Arnett and Valerie Smith in the 100 hurdles, Hailley Kendall in the 100 dash, the 800 relay team, Holly Kamper in the 1,600 run, the 400 relay team, Brooke Ohnmeiss and Payten Drewery in the 400 dash, Taylor White and Roxie Conn in the 800 run, Carly Carafa in the 200 dash, the 1,600 relay team, Kaitlyn Trace and Hailley Kendall in the high jump, Tori Crabtree and Nadia Ritter in the long jump, Molly Hamilton and Kayla Tullis in the shot and discus. Tullis took first place finish in the shot. Arnett and Aubrey Gale scored in the pole vault.

“The team is off to a very good start,” said Graham Coach John Tullis. “The girls are having a lot of fun and are working very hard to improve. We are competitive and making progress. We are looking forward to the Graham Invitational on April 13.
