The Associated Press recently released its All-Ohio girls basketball awards, with a couple of local athletes making the list.

In Division II, Urbana’s Hunter Rogan received honorable mention.

In Division III, West Liberty-Salem’s Lily Yoder received honorable mention.

UHS Boosters fundraiser

The Urbana High School Athletic Boosters will host Monte Carlo Night on Friday, March 31 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Cheetah Lounge, 211 Glenn Ave. in Urbana.

Tickets will be available in advance and at the door.

Ticket costs include admission as well as heavy hors d’ oeuvres, soft drinks and two drink tickets (additional beer will be available for purchase).

Advance ticket prices will be $10 each or two for $15. Ticket prices at the door will be $20 each or two for $25.

The event will benefit Urbana High School and Urbana Junior High School athletics.
