Due to a problem with Bellefontaine’s gymnasium floor, the Bellefontaine vs. Urbana boys basketball games scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 19 will be held at Indian Lake High School on the same date.

Junior high basketball

The WL-S 7th grade girls beat Miami View, 35-17. For the Tigers (12-2), Gracie Estes had 12 points and Selena Weaver put up 11 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.

The WL-S 8th graders won, 30-15. For the Tigers (9-5), Alex Burton had 13 rebounds and 11 points.

The WL-S 7th grade girls defeated South Vienna, 40-0. Showing unselfish play, the Tigers offered 10 assists as a team. For the Tigers Estes and Cole each had 10 points.

The WL-S 8th graders won, 35-7, pushing their record to 10-5 overall. For the Tigers, Alex Burton had 10 points and Camrin Rice had 9 points and 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

The WL-S 7th grade boys beat Northeastern, 40-26 . Tanner Le Van led the Tigers (12-1) with 13 points and Nick Burden added 10.
