WL-S loses to Northeastern in boys bowling

Northeastern defeated WL-S, 2,062-1,857, in OHC boys bowling on Tuesday.

For the Tigers, Treven Marchal had a 159, Mike Price a 117, Isaac Riblet a 203, Logan Tompkins a 101 and Hunter Smith a 114.

WL-S reschedules

The WL-S girls basketball game that was cancelled last Saturday with Mechanicsburg will be made up on Monday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at Mechanicsburg.

WL-S seeks coach

West Liberty-Salem is in need of a JV softball coach for the upcoming season. Anyone interested should pick up an application from the central office, download off the school website or contact AD Jake Vitt at [email protected].

JH basketball

Mechanicsburg beat Fairbanks, 43-28, in 7th grade girls basketball. Lani Wilhelm had 17 points and Day Rodgers had 10 for the Indians.

Mechanicsburg won the 8th grade game, 57-11. Grace Forrest had 15 points, Mazie Reece had 14, Kaylee Warfield had 12 and Jennifer Wallace added 10 for the Indians.

Shawnee beat Urbana, 37-25, in 7th grade boys basketball. Max Keely had 11 points for Urbana (2-4).

Shawnee won the 8th grade game, 56-32. Kellen Thomas had 11 points and Cody Peterson had 10 for UJHS (0-6).
