ST. PARIS – Graham defeated Greenon, 59-44, Tuesday night in CBC/MRD boys basketball.
The Falcons led, 3-0, at the end of the first quarter and 19-16 at the half.
Graham owned a 38-34 lead after three periods.
For the Falcons (4-7, 2-2), Conner Wylie had 21 points – including five treys – and Andrew Ford added 17.
Greenon is now 2-8, 1-3.
Graham plays at Indian Lake on Friday.
Indians fall to Rams
MECHANICSBURG – Greeneview beat Mechanicsburg, 56-47, Tuesday night in OHC boys basketball.
The Indians were out-scored, 37-28, in the second half.
For Mechanicsburg (2-6, 1-5), Mack Cushman and Bobby Welch each had 15 points.
M’burg won the jayvee game, 39-24. Billy Muterspaw had 14 points for the Indians.
Cardinals defeat Pirates
NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad beat Riverside, 54-42, Tuesday night in non-league boys basketball.
Briley Harlan had 16 points, while Hadley LeVan and Thomas O’Neal each scored 13 for the Cardinals.
Triad had a 33-18 halftime lead and was able to maintain that advantage in the second half.
The Cardinals were without Ryan Boyd, who rested a sore ankle. The standout guard isn’t expected to miss any additional time.
Triad (7-2, 2-2 OHC) hosts Catholic Central Friday night.
WL-S boys win
WEST LIBERTY – Kannon Stillings scored a team-high 18 points as WL-S defeated Fairbanks, 56-49, in non-league boys basketball on Tuesday.
The Tigers led, 28-25, at the half.
For WL-S (7-2), Tyler Louden had 12 points.
WL-S won the jayvee game, 47-37. Cody King and Trevor Burden each had 13 points for the Tigers.
WL-S won the 9th grade game, 38-37, led by Oliver McGuire’s 18 points.
