Bellefontaine defeated West Liberty-Salem, 2,501-1,557 in non-league boys bowling on Saturday.

For the Tigers, Mike Price had a 209 game, Isaac Riblet rolled a 154 and Logan Thompkins had a 133. Hunter Smith added a 71 and Brian Hays had a 61.

For the Chiefs, Dallas Gibbs had a 233 and Daniel Welkart had a 216.

The Chieftains also defeated the Tigers in girls bowling, 2,048-1,453.

Erica McCall led the Tigers with a 143 game. Sarah Daulton posted a 114 and a 109, Rachel Larson had a 110 and Hailee Clifford rolled a 104.

Black earns honor

GRANVILLE – Junior Lindsey Black, a Graham High School graduate, was named to the All-Tournament team as No. 23 Ohio Northern beat Denison, 56-44, for the Tip-Off Tournament title on Saturday in women’s basketball.

The Polar Bears improve to 3-0 overall.
