Jamie Peterson to play for University of Dayton Flyers

WEST LIBERTY – Jamie Peterson signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Dayton Flyers on Nov. 16 at West Liberty-Salem High School. Her high school accomplishments include the following:

Senior year

Under Armor All-American Honorable Mention Team

All-Ohio First Team (Division 3)

District 9, Division 3 Player of the Year

District 9, Division 3 First Team

District 9 Senior All-Star

Ohio Heritage Conference Player of the Year

Ohio Heritage Conference First Team

MaxPreps/AVCA Ohio High School Player of the Week for Sept. 14-20

www.PrepVolleyball.com named Jamie Peterson #73 out of the top 100 seniors in the whole U.S., called the “100 Senior Aces.”

Peterson finished her high school career with 1,582 career kills, which will put her in ninth place in the OHSAA state record book for career kills. Also, she finished the season with 530 kills, which will put her in 17th place for season kills in the state record book. Jamie Peterson also finished the season with 99 service aces, which is only one service ace away from the required 100 season aces for the state record book.
