Another good week in our picks, but no perfection.

We went 5-1 last week to improve to 34-5 overall, so we’re not exactly complaining.

Our only miss came on Triad, which lost to Southeastern, 36-34.

Maybe, just maybe, we can get back to perfection this week.

Tonight’s Games

Urbana (1-6) at Tecumseh (3-4) – Last week’s 42-0 loss to Bellefontaine on homecoming was not pretty for the Hillclimbers, who have dropped six straight games.

Tecumseh isn’t nearly as good as Bellefontaine, but we’re still going with the Arrows to prevail in this one.

Northeastern (3-4) at Mechanicsburg (7-0) – The Indians just keep on rolling toward the playoffs.

The Jets aren’t rolling on toward the playoffs, so we’re picking Mechanicsburg to win … and probably by a wide margin.

Triad (1-6) at WL-S (3-4) – Triad was this close to beating Southeastern last week, but a late Trojan TD pass proved to be the difference.

WL-S, meanwhile, is one of the best 3-4 teams around.

We’re going with the Tigers to prevail.

Graham (1-6) at Ben Logan (7-0) – The Falcons broke their losing streak last week by pounding winless Greenon.

It’s going to get a lot tougher for Graham tonight.

We’re picking Ben Logan to win.

Saturday’s Game

West Virginia Wesleyan (1-5) at Urbana U. (2-4) – The Blue Knights had a rare laugher last week against winless Cincinnati Christian, a first-year NAIA program.

This week, the Blue Knights host West Virginia Wesleyan and its deceiving 1-5 record on homecoming.

It’s probably a toss-up, but we’re going with WVWU to prevail in a thriller.
