Urbana beat Kenton Ridge, 22-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-13, in CBC volleyball on Tuesday.

For UHS, Hunter Rogan had 25 kills and 16 digs, Mackenzie Bean had 7 kills, Bridget Ofori had 6 kills and 9 digs, Olivia Dunham had 21 digs and 4 aces and Taylor Adams had 38 assists and 11 digs.

KR won the jayvee match, 25-21, 17-25, 25-23.

For UHS, Jessica Murray had 4 aces and 3 kills, Maddy Johnson had 7 kills and 4 aces, Sam Zaborowski had 4 kills, Gracie Troyer had 11 digs, Jennah Adams had 8 digs and Tiana Johnson had 14 assists.

KR won the freshman match, 25-12, 25-13.

Jasmine Powell had 3 kills and 3 digs, Hannah Loxley had 7 digs and Madison Markley had 5 digs.

For UHS (13-7), Rogan had 36 kills and 10 digs, Dunham had 24 digs, Adams had 39 assists and 18 digs, Bean had 5 kills and 4 aces, Ofori had 5 kills and Megan Ridder had 4 kills.

Shawnee’s jayvees won, 25-21, 25-12.

Tiana Johnson had 2 aces and 3 digs and Maddy Johnson had 3 kills.

Shawnee’s freshmen won, 25-13, 25-14.

Murray had 2 aces, 3 kills and 5 digs.

Linscott competes at district

Triad golfer Macy Linscott competed at the Pipestone district tournament on Wednesday, shooting a 91. She did not advance.

“It has been a pleasure to coach Macy for the past four years and I am proud of the way she competed at Pipestone,” said Triad Coach Patrick Johnson. “She is the first lady golfer to advance to the district tournament since the girls golf program started back up at Triad four years ago.”

The Graham 8th grade team ended its season with a tournament loss to Ben Logan, 25-16, 25-17.
