Urbana beat bellefontaine, 22-25, 25-9, 25-15, 25-15, in CBC volleyball on Thursday.

For UHS (10-6), Hunter Rogan had 25 kills and 12 digs, Mackenzie Bean had 9 kills, Megan Ridder had 5 kills, Bridget Ofori had 6 kills and 12 digs, Kim Asper had 4 kills, Taylor Adams had 44 assists and Olivia Dunham had 22 digs.

Bellefontaine’s jayvees won, 24-26, 25-17, 25-21.

For UHS, Maddy Johnson had 9 aces, 6 kills and 7 digs and Jessica Murray had 12 digs and 4 aces.

WL-S tops M’burg

WL-S topped Mechanicsburg, 16-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-14, in OHC volleyball.

For the Tigers, Alex Burton had 11 kills, 16 digs, 4 aces and 8 points, Tory Cordell had 10 kills, 6 blocks, 4 digs and 7 points, Kaylee Harrison had 8 kills and 1 block, Olivia Ames led the defense with 29 digs, 5 assists, 9/9 serving with 3 points, Hallie Strapp had 19 digs, 3 kills, 19/19 serving with 2 aces and Allie Yoder had 15 assist, 18/18 serving with 11 points and 12 digs.

The Tigers won the jayvee match, 25-20, 25-22.

For WL-S, Jaelen Meeker had 7 assists and 5 digs, Peyton Orahood had perfect serving and 2 aces and Abby Dillon had perfect serving with 8 digs.

Triad loses to Fairbanks

Fairbanks beat Triad, 25-21, 25-13, 25-12, in OHC volleyball on Thursday.

For the Cardinals, Kayleigh Rice had 18 digs, Ali Dixon had 15 digs and Madison Dolby had 10 kills and 14 digs.

Fairbanks also won the jayvee contest, 25-20, 25-14.

UHS falls in soccer

Urbana lost to Tecumseh, 5-1, in CBC girls soccer. Sam Tracy had the goal for UHS and Magdaline Perry had 5 saves in goal.

M’burg girls lose

Springfield Catholic Central beat Mechanicsburg, 8-2, in OHC girls soccer.

For the Indians (6-4-1), Tori Jacobs had 4 shots on goal and one assist, Kasey Schipfer had 2 goals scored and keeper Morgan Hamby had 17 saves.

Tiger girls prevail

WL-S defeated Northeastern, 7-0, in OHC girls soccer.

Scoring goals for the Tigers (9-2, 3-1) were Gabby Hollar (3), Dierdre McGill, Laine Godwin, Mikalia McIntosh and Lily Yoder.

Taylor Lauck, Yoder, Kaitlyn Michael, McGill, Ashley Rabenstein, Ally Smith and Rachel Davis had assists.

WL-S jayvees win

WL-S defeated Ben Logan, 2-1, in jayvee boys soccer. Blake Kaminski scored both goals for the Tigers. Hayden Hostetler and Levi Chapman each had 1 assist. Zach McCall had 4 saves in goal while Gavin Harrison had one save for WL-S.
