Unbeaten Indian Lake defeated Urbana, 43-7, in CBC football at UHS Friday night.

The loss was the fourth straight for Urbana (1-4).

Indian Lake (5-0) built up a 28-0 halftime lead thanks to two scoring passes by quarterback Alex Jacobs, a Jacobs run and an Andrew Hulbert run.

Jacobs added another TD run and a safety to start the third quarter, and the visitors soon increased their lead to 43-0.

Urbana’s Nick Dorsey scored on a 12-yard run and Cooper Johnson added the PAT to make it 43-7 with 8:28 remaining in the game.

Urbana hosts Kenton Ridge next Friday night.

Greeneview 27, WL-S 13

WEST LIBERTY – Greeneview held WL-S’s offense scoreless in a 27-13 win over the Tigers Friday night in OHC football.

Greeneview took its opening possession of the game all the way to the end zone, and led 6-0 after a failed PAT attempt.

WL-S’s Levi Moell returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown, and with a missed PAT, the score was knotted at 6-6.

Moments later, WL-S’s Tyler Burden returned an interception for a TD, giving the Tigers a 13-6 lead to end the first quarter.

After WL-S failed to convert on 4th and 11 from the Ram 17 early in the second quarter, Greeneview (4-1, 2-0) took the ball for a TD to make it 13-13 at the half.

A 15-yard TD reception by Jacob Green with 2:26 remaining in the third period gave the Rams a 20-13 lead.

Greeneview sealed the win on Green’s TD run with 4:12 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The TD was set up by a Greeneview interception of WL-S QB Luke Woods three plays earlier.

The Tigers (2-3, 1-1) play at unbeaten Mechanicsburg next Friday night.

Kenton Ridge 57, Graham 26

SPRINGFIELD – Kenton Ridge defeated winless Graham, 57-26, Friday night in CBC football.

The Falcons trailed, 14-13, in the first half, but the Cougars (2-3) sprinted out to a 48-20 lead by late in the third quarter.

The Falcons (0-5) play at unbeaten Indian Lake next Friday night.
