Even though we only had three games to pick last week, we’re still pretty pleased with perfection.

Yes, a perfect 3-0 week, which puts us at 47-11 for the season.

We really want to get to that coveted 50-correct picks plateau for the season … maybe it will happen this week.

Saturday’s Games

Mechanicsburg (11-0) vs. Delphos Jefferson (10-1) at Sidney – As we expected, the Indians had little trouble demolishing Williamsburg in the first round of the playoffs last week.

It might get a bit tougher this week against Jefferson, although we wouldn’t be surprised if there was a running clock again at some point in the second half.

We’re picking Mechanicsburg to win.

WL-S (9-2) vs. Marion Local (10-1) at Wapakoneta – WL-S had a comfortable win at over-rated Cincinnati Country Day last week, but high-flying Marion Local is no Country Day.

A Mechanicsburg-Marion Local regional final seems like it’s destined to happen next week, so that means we’re going with Marion Local to prevail over WL-S in this one.

Urbana U. (2-8) at Shepherd (9-0) – Do we really need to make a pick on this one?
