It’s not a good week for NFL’s Roger Goodell

It hasn’t been a great week for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

First, he posed for a photo with a Patriots’ fan at Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly’s charity golf tournament, and the fan managed to get away with giving the unsuspecting commissioner the finger.

Then, someone hacked the NFL’s official Twitter page and announced that he was dead.

The message read: “We regret to inform our fans that our commissioner, Roger Goodell, has passed away. He was 57,” followed by a hashtag and “RIP.”

Goodell is not exactly popular with fans, but the owners love him because he keeps the dollars rolling in.

Muhammad Ali’s death last Friday night was probably tough to take for all sports fans in my age group.

I grew up watching Ali at his peak as a boxer, and he was certainly entertaining.

He’s been mostly out of the public eye for two decades due to Parkinson’s disease, which was probably brought on after taking so many blows to the head.

Without question, though, Ali was one of a kind.

Trivia Time – Newly-hired Baylor University football coach Jim Grobe had a record of 33-33-1 as Ohio University’s coach from 1995-2000.

This week’s question – How many losses did Muhammed Ali have in his professional boxing career?
