Shady Bowl to host Snapp Family Classic

DeGRAFF – It will be the Snapp Family Classic at Shady Bowl Speedway Saturday night.

Shady Bowl has honored several families this season who have supported the track in the past and present.

The Snapp family has been involved in the track for three generations.

Dick Snapp started the family in racing and gave the racing bug to his offspring. Sons Steve and Mike have competed in just about every class. Aliza (Steve’s daughter) and Dillon (Mike’s son) have been racing in the street stocks.. The pair have both picked up feature wins.

The main event will be a 40-lap street stock main paying $911 to win. The 11th-place finisher will receive a bonus of $211.

The driver who makes the most passes will receive $111 as the hard charger award winner.

Also on hand will be the Late Models, Modifieds, Compacts and Tuners. Racing will start at 7 p.m.
