My complaint is about icy roads. Salt may melt the ice, but it doesn’t give you any traction and also eats the metal on your vehicle. Grit is a much better solution. If you have traction, you don’t need melt. Due to the bad weather we’ve had with more to come, we need to rethink the safety of the driving public.
