In comments on my letter supporting Janet Garrett, David George states that “Jim Jordan is always kind.” Perhaps he has not seen Mr. Jordan unkindly interrupt and attack witnesses during congressional hearings. Jordan’s determination to repeal the ACA (Obamacare) would let insurance companies deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions. He voted “no” on the Violence Against Women Act, NO on mental illness parity, NO on expanding the Children’s Health Insurance Program etc. These votes were harmful, not kind. Second, we can reduce abortions by making birth control readily available and affordable. Sadly, some politicians oppose that practical option.
