‘Castle’ nostalgia too costly

In response to the letter in the Urbana Daily Citizen on Jan. 29 by Donald L. Barger pertaining to the location of all Urbana schools being built behind the Community Center, this is a great idea. I urge all Urbana taxpayers to get behind this suggestion.

I had two children graduate from the Urbana school system several years ago. I know the attachment to the “Castle” building, but this is the time for the future of our schools and city.

We need all new schools, not just band-aid fixes and never-ending costs to keep the “Castle” nostalgia.

Donald Barger’s suggestion makes too much sense to be ignored.
