Great support staff, teachers, and administrators make a great district. We are fortunate to have so many great people at Graham despite lower average salaries (35th of 40 districts in a seven-county region), but we have to retain these people.
We must also be able to attract strong teachers to positions that are difficult, or in some cases nearly impossible to fill, without competitive salaries.
My dad, a former principal at Graham Jr. High, taught me the importance of investing in children and communities. As a current principal and parent of three Graham students, I too believe strong schools and strong communities raise strong kids. Please join me in saying yes to investing in our Graham kids.
