Community supports Habitat for Humanity

Champaign County’s Habitat for Humanity affiliate has had a red letter year! We wish to thank the entire community, our hundreds of faithful volunteers, and those who patronize the ReStore. Our mission to build decent homes for those in need brings people together for the betterment of our community.

It fosters hope and allows a new chapter in many lives. Many local churches, schools, businesses and individuals have made this year possible. Our next build will be on Harmon Avenue and prospective new families may receive applications at the ReStore at this time.

The gifts we receive from so many come from a desire to help us change a family’s history. The walls of our homes are put together with love and compassion and that’s what makes these houses … homes! There was much love shared in our county this year! Thank you Champaign County … and beyond.

Sincerely,

Board of Directors: Dan and Marge Baker, Jim Ballard, Amber Bodey, Dr. Keith Bowman, Rev. Grant Cordell, Father Larry Gearhart, Rob and Michelle Johnson, Debi Knull, Jeff Morgan, Frank Segreti, Kay Trout, Greg Ward, Jim Zaborowski, Dr. Bernie Zoppa, and Eric Warrick. ReStore manager – Anita Segreti

Marcia B. Ward – executive director (volunteer)
