0

We’re excited to share our new digital resources. Use your Mechanicsburg Public Library card to get instant access to popular magazines with Flipster, find reading recommendations with NoveList, get consumer advice at Consumer Reports, and look at the information in the Auto Repair Reference Center.

Look for your favorite magazines to read on your computer or mobile device. Click on the Flipster link, browse available magazines, and click on a magazine to view it in your browser. This means you can access Flipster from any computer, laptop, or mobile device, as long as you are connected to the internet. You can also use the Flipster app to download magazines for offline reading. Simply browse and view magazines through the Flipster link on our website, and select the “Open in App” option to download magazines to the app.

Get reading recommendations for both fiction and nonfiction, for all ages. NoveList Plus is a comprehensive source of information about books that includes expert recommendations, reviews, articles, lists and more. Read-alike recommendations for books, listen-alike recommendations for audiobooks, and series information are just some of the tools to help you find books you want to read.

Consumer Reports helps customers to make better purchasing decisions with ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for thousands of products and services. Frequently updated articles, blogs and video content provide reliable data and unbiased information.

Auto Repair Reference Center provides a do-it-yourself resource for repairing and maintaining domestic and imported vehicles from 1954 to present. New repair procedures, Technical Service Bulletins and recalls are added on a regular basis. All of the content has been created by National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certified technicians.

Don’t forget we also offer free access to digital books, audiobooks, music, videos and magazines for you to read, listen or watch on your computer or mobile device at the Ohio Digital Library. We can also show you how to connect to the Ohio Web Library. They provide reliable information about books, Ohio, history, consumer guides, health, and more through these resources provided to all Ohioans by the Ohio Public Library Information Network.
