Eligible producers may now formally enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for 2014 and 2015. The enrollment period began June 17 and ends Sept. 30. Implementing the 2014 Farm Bill has been done in three phases:

Phase 1 – Update yields, and reallocate bases acres (ended April 7)

Phase 2 – Make an election between ACR, ARC-IC or PLC Program (ended April 7)

Phase 3 – Sign 2014 and/or 2015 contracts to enroll in elected program (ends Sept. 30)

To receive possible payments for 2014 and 2015, contracts must be signed by Sept. 30 (Phase Three). Appointments are encouraged.
