The Mechanicsburg FFA meats judging team consisting of Taylor Ayars, Dylan Hartley and Mckenna Hilterbrand placed 4th overall at the Buckeye Meats Invitational on February 13th. Taylor Ayars placed 1st, Mckenna Hilterbrand placed 16th and Dylan Hartley placed 30th. Thank you to Dr. Bill Ayars for coaching this team.

The Mechanicsburg FFA competed at the sub-district public speaking contest Feb. 16 at Graham High School. Ashley Dailey was the sub-district champion in advance prepared. John Kent was the sub-district champion in beginning prepared. Both were to move on to the district public speaking contest on Feb. 23. Taylor Ayars was to advance to the district contest. Jack Shoemaker did a tremendous job in extemp speaking.
