Barely Used Pets (dog)

Meet Cody, a one-year-old Heeler Mix who came to us from another shelter. He is such a happy dog and he loves everyone! He gets along with other dogs. Cody is scheduled to be neutered and he is up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $150.

PAWS Animal Shelter (cat)

Tuffy is a domestic short hair orange tabby who just turned one year old. He’s still a very ornery, playful kitten waiting for his fur-ever family to come find him. Tuffy loves to play and would love to have another feline to play with in his new home. Come visit him at Paws.

Champaign County Animal Welfare League (dog)

Opal is a 7-month-old Boston Terrier mix who weighs 27 pounds and came to us as an unclaimed stray. Opal is patiently waiting on her forever home. She is a total love bug and doesn’t know a stranger. Opal loves to give people kisses and little tail wags. She is dog- and kid-friendly. Opal appears to be house-trained as she keeps her kennel nice and clean. She has been completely vetted, spayed, heart-worm tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, on flea/heartworm prevention and current on vaccinations.

The Champaign County Animal Welfare League is having a Fall Arts & Crafts Fair on Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The admission is free. If interested in being a vendor, contact CCAWL by email at champaigncoanimalwelfareleague.com. The only fee for vendors is a donation from our donations listed on the participant sheet.

Dog/cat adoption applications are at www.champaigncoanimalwelfareleague.com or pick one up at our facility during business hours or request one by email. Adoption fee for puppies/dogs is $185. Lower rates apply for Senior Dogs. Adoption fee for kittens/cats is $75. Fees cover spay/neuter, Da2PPL, Bivalent Flu, Bordetella, rabies, worming, heartworm test, flea and heartworm prevention, microchip. Senior Day is the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, noon-2 p.m. Relax in our Senior Center room and get doggie love and kisses. The CCAWL provides a low cost Spay & Neuter Clinic open to the public. During business hours, pre-pay, fill out a surgery info paper and release form and receive a surgery date.
