On Sept. 12, over 90 members and guests gathered at Melvin Miller Park for the annual cookout meeting. Every year the chapter holds the meeting to welcome new members, review national convention costs and go over program details with parents, who had the opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting began at 6:45 p.m. During the meeting the members moved to approve the program of activities. The chapter moved that students pay $65 and the alumni $75 per student to attend the National Convention. Members moved to approve the chapter pays $5 for each student going to Greenhand camp. Members also moved to have the chapter pay $20 for each of the four members that attended the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference.
Once all new business was approved, committees gave their reports. The meeting was adjourned at 7:08 p.m. After the meeting, members and guests ate and socialized.
