The Dayton Development Coalition, UpDayton, Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education, University of Dayton Center for Leadership, and Miami Valley Human Resource Association will continue the Dayton Region Talent Forum series in Clark and Champaign counties on Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Simon Kenton Inn, 4690 Urbana Road, Springfield.

The Clark-Champaign Workshop will feature a national speaker and others sharing resources and best practices in talent attraction and retention.

“We have ample career opportunities in our communities. This forum is designed to hear ‘best practices’ to attract, recruit and retain our employees now and into the future,” said Marcia Bailey, economic development director of the Champaign Economic Partnership.

Regional businesses have said talent is the No.1 issue. The Dayton Region Talent Forum was developed with employers in mind, to share best practices among peers and empower organizations to have greater success in recruitment, retention and engagement.

The Clark-Champaign Talent Workshop will focus on finding strong applicants, filling open positions and building employment brand.
