WL-S students explore farm life

West Liberty-Salem Elementary students were introduced to farm animals and equipment on Ag Science Day, held May 10 with the help of WL-S FFA students, Farmers Equipment and Koenig Equipment. Students learned about farming practices and raising livestock. Animal favorites included a 3-week-old Hereford calf owned by Ashley Spencer. Students also saw ducks, horses, ponies, donkeys and pigs. FFA students with some of the animals included, from left, Emma Hostetler, Allie Gault, Lance Baldwin, Trinity Perkins, Denver Cushman, Jordan Lewis, Tory Pawelko, Gillian Kite, Madeline Hutton and Rachel Hostetler.
