Champaign County Animal Welfare League (dog)

The Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) pet of the week is Isabella. She is a 9-month-old Pitbull mix weighing 38 pounds, who came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. Isabella has puppy energy and is very affectionate. She is kid, dog, and cat friendly and almost house trained. We believe a patient owner could bring Isabella around quickly with house-training. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations: Bivalent Flu, Bordatella, Da2PPL and Rabies. Isabella has been dewormed and heartworm tested negative. She is on prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. If you would like Isabella to become a part of your family, you must fill out an adoption application, which may be found on our webpage www.champagincoanimalwelfareleague.com or you may stop by our facility during business hours.

To offset the expenses of our low-cost, spay and neuter clinic, we are increasing our adoption fee by $15. All adoptable puppies/dogs will be available for $165 regardless of breed. Lower rates apply for Senior Dogs. This fee covers spay/neuter, Da2PPL, Bivalent Flu, Bordetella, Rabies (age appropriate), Worming, Heart Worm Test, Flea and Heart Worm Prevention and Microchip. As always, all animals receive a dental cleaning and polish with any necessary extractions. All CCAWL residents are also groomed. We accept cash, credit or debit only.

Adoption applications are required and must be approved. You may find the application on our webpage – www.champaigncoanimalwelfareleague.com – or stop by our facility, 3858 state Route 56, Mechanicsburg, OH 43044.
