Mercy Health announces partnership with UrbanaWORKS

SPRINGFIELD – Mercy Health – Springfield has partnered with UrbanaWORKS, the employer partnership initiative of Urbana University.

This employer partnership offers Mercy Health employees a 20 percent tuition discount to Franklin University and its branch campus Urbana University, as well as access to five $9,000 scholarships for qualified employee dependents who attend Urbana University as full-time resident students.

Franklin and Urbana University offer Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in many disciplines, including a new evening MBA program at Urbana University starting in January.

Franklin University focuses specifically on the adult, working student. All courses are on-line and many students take one course at a time (six-week terms). Students work with their advisor to build a plan that fits their life. At Urbana University, the ratio of professor to students is 15-1 and every student has access to an internship experience.
