Champaign County Engineer Stephen McCall announced that South Elm Tree Road in Johnson Township is closed to thru-traffic between Wolcott Road and U.S. Route 36 starting today, Oct. 3, and continuing approximately two weeks for the replacement of 1,440 feet of guardrail. Funding for this project is through the Federal Highway Administration and the county engineer’s share of motor vehicle and license fees and gasoline tax.
