Cedar Bog is gearing up for its annual Boo in the Bog family event!
Scheduled 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 14, Boo in the Bog provides the rare treat to visit the Bog at night and will include learning stations, craft activities, storytelling, face painting, food and fun for the whole family. Come learn about the wolves in North America, spiders, mink, bats and mole crickets. We will have live wolves at the event this year.
The cost for this annual event is $6 for adults, $5 for children 6 and over. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Cedar Bog and Ohio History Connection members receive a $1 discount. Owl Prowl and Expedition to Antarctica
The 2017 season ends with our Owl Prowl program on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. Join Shawn Conner of Hueston Woods as he brings live owls to show visitors.
Following the Owl Prowl, Cedar Bog is partnering with the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center to share the Byrd 1933 Expedition to Antarctica Movie.
The cost to attend the Owl Prowl program and Byrd 1933 Movie combined is $10 per person. Cedar Bog and Ohio History Connection members receive a $5 discount.
