Matthew E. Huss, son of Rex and Betty Huss and a graduate of Urbana High School class of 1995, retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years. He completed six overseas tours of duty in Bahrain, Qatar, South Korea and Afghanistan. In addition to many medals and ribbons awarded over the years, he was selected as the Distinguished Graduate of the Airmen Leadership School, squadron level NCO of the Qtr. and year, wing level NCO of the Qtr., and top Wing Inspector of the Qtr. Huss, Brittany and their children, Heidi, Braydon and Dylan, live in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he is a Purchasing Mgr. for Steffes Corp.
