DAYTON – PS&E announced that Breanne Parcels has joined its municipal law team and that she will concentrate her practice on the needs of local governments and business clients.

After a decade as an award-winning journalist, Parcels earned her law degree from the University of Dayton in 2012. She then returned to her hometown of Urbana and served as law director and municipal prosecutor for Champaign County for more than three years.

She has knowledge about land use issues, legislation, law enforcement concerns, public records and real estate. She also has experience with incentives for economic development, such as tax increment financing, community reinvestment areas and enterprise zones. She has counseled public sector clients on cybersecurity issues including data protection and social media.
