The Champaign Family YMCA will host “An Evening with Elvis” to benefit programming and Invest in Youth scholarships at the YMCA.
The dinner-concert will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Y, 191 Community Drive. Showgoers will be treated to a home-cooked spaghetti dinner and dessert at 5 p.m. The meal will be catered and served by YMCA staff and volunteers.
Tickets are limited to the first 120 patrons and are available at the Y Welcome Center for pre-sale only. Stop by or call 937-653-9622 to purchase tickets.
Professional, award-winning tribute artist JR Grimmett is “one of the best vocal tribute artists we’ve heard. He brought tears to my grandmother’s eyes; it was so sweet,” says Heather Hall of Columbus. Grimmett and his variety performers have performed at festivals, fairs, weddings, corporate events, night clubs, anniversaries and birthday parties.
A photographer will be available 5-6:30 p.m. for souvenir 5×7 photos for $5.
