McAuley Center celebrates life, hope

Mercy McAuley Center Director of Resident Services and Mission Tonya West releases two dozen monarchs, one of which rests on her palm during the annual butterfly release Wednesday in the courtyard of the Scioto Street facility in Urbana. Following the release of the 24 monarchs, residents in attendance were given envelopes to open, each of which contained a butterfly ready to take flight. The event was held in celebration of life and living it to the fullest.
