City income tax issue will not be on ballot

0

Ordinance 3876-17, which proposes an Amendment to Section 171.013 of the Codified Ordinances of Urbana, Ohio, and which further provides for the addition of six tenths of one percent (0.6%) to the tax on income levied pursuant to that Section, will not be on the ballot on November 7, 2017, as previously proposed.

The Council Clerk, who does not file such Resolutions with regularity, did not timely file same.

Therefore, the matter will be readdressed with Council with the objective of placing the issue before the voters of Urbana on the Spring ballot. Thank you.
