Local members of Champaign County Right to Life assembled Jan. 24 on Monument Square to mark the anniversary of 1973 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade. The annual event is a peaceful witness to the many lives lost to abortion in Champaign County (34 in 2014) and in the state of Ohio (21,186 in 2014).
