ST. PARIS – Graham Local Schools announced that principals Ryan Rismiller, Chad Miller and Chad Lensman will speak to school leaders from across the country at the 2017 National Principals Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Graham’s program was selected from among 800 submissions for this opportunity.

Graham’s session, The Power of 17: Career Gears @ Graham, will discuss career pathways and programming to address workforce readiness in America’s schools. This issue is important to the education community because of the need for innovative career and college readiness models for small and rural schools. The leadership team at Graham has worked diligently to implement new Board policies and programming with Career Gears throughout the past year, garnering both state and national attention for their work.

The 2017 National Principals conference will foster authentic collaboration among school leaders from all levels, which will inspire them to understand and value their peers’ expertise and worth. It will also provide an unprecedented opportunity to build transition bridges and fully prepare students for success in school and beyond to college and careers. This is the first-ever NASSP and NAESP joint national conference for Pre-K through 12 school leaders.
